Optimizing Distribution Network Strategy

Distribution Network Strategies work to achieve the lowest distribution costs by balancing the numbers, sizes, and locations of facilities while also achieving exceptional levels of customer service.

Participants will examine these factors as they research one area of their company's distribution network and consider how its performance might be improved.

Whether it is administering state assessments for school children, how pharmacy services are provided for our veterans in our veteran homes, or food services at correctional facilities, we get to learn so many things about how our state operates!"
Genevieve Hayes, State of Michigan
Midwestern Regional Council Vice-Chair

What is the top priority for your state procurement office for 2023?
"To increase our spend with Geographically-Disadvantaged Business Enterprises."

What is your advice for working with other agencies in the state?
"To learn as much as you can about their business processes."
