Single-Use Credit Card for State Purchases

Operating like a standard fund submission, NASPO's SUA program allows us to provide a single-use credit card for the vendor rather than cutting a check to the vendor or state, facilitating quicker purchases. This option avoids staff needing to submit personal reimbursements and can help avoid the AP and AR process for the state. Download a flowchart outlining the process, and reach out to the NASPO Finance Team with any questions.

Mini Scholarships Available

BA 235: State and Local Government Procurement

March 28 - June 11

Available through Chemeketa Community College, this 100% online course will satisfy four college credits in public procurement study and is offered at no cost to the state.

Primary members must approve participation in the course. The deadline for nominations is February 23 at 5 pm ET. Email Brandi Willard with nominations or questions.

NASPO at 75:

1957 - Antitrust Resolutions

Beginning in 1957, 15 resolutions were created dealing with antitrust violations, principally price fixing. Most of the resolutions supported a U.S. Attorney General program for reporting tie bids and other evidence of price-fixing to the Department of Justice. NASPO members also testified in antitrust litigation against pharmaceutical companies and auto manufacturers in matters of price collusion.
