Description

This project management simulation uses real-world application to teach project management techniques. In this simulation, you are the project leader for the development of a knowledge sharing database. You’ll make decisions about the project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk. As you make these decisions, an adaptive scoreboard will reflect the impact of your choices on project success.

Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:

  1. Leading a project team
  2. Balancing competing interests, such as project scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, risk, communications, and procurement considerations throughout every project phase
  3. Dealing with controversial decisions and the potential for negative team or customer outcomes
  4. Analyzing schedule, budget, and quality data and using that information to make educated decisions
  5. Addressing issues related to project procurement
