NASPO Welcomes First Affiliate Division Partner

Partnership Recognizes Shared Values and Commitment to Procurement Excellence

Lexington, Kentucky – The National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) announced today that the Virginia Association of Governmental Purchasing (VAGP) has signed on as the first NASPO Affiliate Division Partner. This new Affiliate Division Program operates as strategic outreach to public procurement organizations with similar missions, visions, and values to those of NASPO.

Olivia Hook Frey, Director of Membership Engagement and Strategic Partnerships said of the partnership, “The Affiliate Division allows NASPO to work with public procurement entities outside of our core membership. It will expand the reach of our resources, and it will invite additional procurement voices into our world.”

“We are excited to welcome VAGP as our first Affiliate Division partner! Our shared commitment to public procurement excellence makes us natural partners, and we look forward to networking and information sharing between our memberships.”

Affiliate Division Partners will have access to the following NASPO benefits:

  • Procurement U Courses and Training
  • NASPO publications and webinars on topics of interest to public procurement professionals
  • NASPO Network, an internal communication collaboration platform
  • Attendance at NASPO conferences
