State Procurement Director

NASPO’s voting membership is comprised of the directors of the central purchasing offices in the states, District of Columbia and territories of the United States. As the NASPO primary member, you have access to the Directors Community in our online networking tool NASPO Network. If you have not received your welcome packet from NASPO or would like to contact someone regarding how to get involved and access the resources available to you, please contact  NASPO Membership.

State Procurement Staff

In addition the state primary member, NASPO can also provide a multitude of resources to other employees of the state central procurement department.

In addition to the materials on naspo.org, we have a repository of members only documents available on the NASPO Network in the All Members Group. The Network also serves as a robust member-to-member communication tool to ask questions of your peers and receive feedback on best practices. To be added to NASPO’s database, please reach out to your state director or contact NASPO Membership.

Other Procurement Professional

Associate membership is available to procurement personnel of state agencies independent of the central procurement office, higher education institutions, and others within NASPO guidelines. More information on associate membership eligibility along with the online application are available here.

Supplier

NASPO does not offer opportunities for supplier membership. However, as a private sector supplier, you have the opportunity to attend NASPO’s Exchange Conference each spring. This conference brings state procurement officials together with companies large and small to discuss how to do business with the states and form successful partnerships. Details on the Exchange Conference can be found on NASPO’s events page.
